Mold Making Silicone

Description Two-component silicone, platinum-curing/ addition-cure type, flowable, vulcanizes at room temperature or heated temperature. Can be used for a long time in the temperature range of - 65 ° C - 200 ° C and keep its soft and elastic properties. Application- Suitable for molding variety of products in large quantity, such us art crafts, furniture, architectural elements, garden ornaments, shoe, tire, soap, candle, vacuum bagging, wind turbine blades, ship/boat hulls, aircraft hulls, FRP pipes/profiles, beacon lighthouse covers, industry, aviation and other fields etc.- Suitable for materials such as resin, PU, PVC, polyester, gypsum/plaster, wax etc. Features & Advantages

Mix part A and pars B evenly with 1:1 mixing ratio.

Notes: 1) Weigh the two parts exactly by electronic weight. For example, the operation time will be shorten after adding too much catalyst.

Mix part A and part B evenly. Otherwise the silicon rubber will be partly solidified which will make the finished molds meet a short life and waste silicon rubber.

Notes: 1) This step is not have to have, but it is best if there is one. It will discharge all air in the mixture successfully, so as to ensure that therewill be no bubbles in the finished mold.2) This step is less than 10 minutes. Otherwise, itWill cause cross-linking reaction, and no morefurther steps will be available.

Pouring casting

Technical measures and storage conditions: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances, feedstuffs, beverages and foods. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Treat carefully, avoid physical damage to containers. The storage area should be equipped with the corresponding species and quantity of emergency equipment, spills emergency treatment equipment and appropriate storage material.Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: Keep container tightly sealed.Package5KG, 20KG, 25KG and 200KG per drum.(There are metal drum and plastic drum for your choice for 5KG and 20KG)Shelf lifeTwelve(12) months when stored under dry and cool place by original package under 25ºC.

Operate Process:

1. The surface of the original is clean and free.

2. Weight 100 Part A base and 100 part B in a clean container.

3. Stirring Part A base silicone before using thoroughly , as filler separation may occur upon prolonged storage.

4. Mixing Part A and Part B evenly until completely dispersed in the base.

5. Pouring the mixed base silicone and platinum curing agent as soon as possible onto the original

6. De-mold after 24 hours ,it is will improve the replicate times of silicone mold.

Note:It is strongly recommended that entrapped air be removed in a vacuum chamber, allowing the mix to completely expand and then collapse. After a further 1-2 min under vacuum, the mix should be inspected and can be used if free of air bubbles. A volume increase of 3-5 times will occur on vacuum de-airing the mixture. So a suitably large container should be chosen.
